Hierros Naparra S.A.

Hierros Naparra S.A. is the parent company of a group of companies dedicated to the collection, selection, and processing of ferric and non-ferric materials (metals) which we then supply as raw materials to steelworks and foundries.

The materials are received at our installations in Bergara, which are located in the Alto Deba Valley, an industrial zone 55 km from Bilbao, 55 km from Donostia-San Sebastian, and 45 km from Vitoria-Gasteiz, where the A1 and Durango-Beasain motorways meet.

We receive, select, and process all materials at these facilities, which cover more than 10,000 m2, using the appropriate machinery.

Our qualified staff are fully committed to the company and offer direct customer care to our suppliers and clients.

Thanks to our policy of continuous improvement, we have expanded the range of EWL products that we can handle with the aim of offering a better, more comprehensive service. We have therefore signed agreements with Fundación Ecolec (IMS) in order to ensure that we process WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) correctly.

As we are continually aiming to complement our current activities, and since we are also aware of the problematic nature of certain waste materials, it is our policy to assess waste materials that currently have no outlet on the market yet have potential value. For this reason, we collaborate with companies that deal with these problematic waste materials and have been studying possible alternatives and their introduction onto the market for some years.
